Do you remember when we all came together to help comfort our neighbors, talk with them just to process the circumstances, or sit in silence together as we hugged each other? I think we forgot…
Do you remember that we didn’t take into account about what political party we were or what our stance was on political actions, we were just there for each other? I think we forgot…
Do you remember the pride we took in our flag, not to be prideful in the face of other nations, but to take pride in who we were as neighbors, as friends, as countrymen, standing together with one another in order to rebuild and give hope. I think we forgot…
Do you remember when we ran to the churches, to pastors, to the places of comfort, because of the confusion, in order to pray with others, and receive help, and we didn’t scoff at the idea of prayer and of service of others? We helped AND prayed, do you remember? I think we forgot…
